I’ve been thinking … If we are all striving for win-win collaborations why is there so much blood on the field?

Stephen Covey tells us to think win-win. And the business pundits have long encouraged us to embrace win-win collaborations – citing the benefits for all parties when we work toward what is best for all.

Isn’t it interesting then, that their pleadings go largely unheeded when the call to arms is upon us. We race to strap on the battle armor and launch ourselves onto the playing field of the zero-sum game – each hoping that we will be the victor. Each hoping that to us alone will go the spoils of war.  Will we ever learn the lesson? One might hope we will one day.

What do you think?

Until tomorrow, GUNG Ho friends!
