Is Conflict Good?
I’ve been thinking – am I ignorantly blissful or just blissfully ignorant? Is my company as brilliant and as worthy of accolades as I think it should be? Is just starting a company enough for me to be bestowed the label of entrepreneur? Is my role as founder worthy of the title of CEO?
According to many inspirational speakers, to become successful starts with a belief that I am already successful. They suggest that I start with the talk and the walk will follow. Is that really how it works? Is being visible, known and publicly recognizable all there is to growing a successful company?
If I apply for awards and win, does that mean that I’m a capable leader? If I acquire investment funding, is that enough to ensure the successful growth of my company? Does one necessarily follow from the other?
What do you think?
Know Yourself is the first axiom we study in our program. We learn to control our egos and educate ourselves to be worthy of the companies we are creating and worthy of the people who trust us to lead it to a successful future.
Until tomorrow, GUNG Ho friends!
