I’ve been thinking …
Am I a successful problem-solver? I think that I have learned something quite important to my progress and professional development.
This is what I’ve heard:
Unsuccessful problem-solvers tend to spend most of their time doing something.
Successful problem-solvers, on the other hand, tend to spend most of their time deciding what to do.
Therefore, being a successful problem-solver will yield better results and waste less time. So, I should slow down and figure out what to do before hurling myself into an ill-conceived task that – by experience – has generally proven to be a monumental waste of precious resources.
What do you think?
Until tomorrow, GUNG Ho friends!
